This beautiful serpent is carved out of an Ivy branch which I cut of an oak tree it was climbing up. The symbols on it combine the Peruvian and Celtic tradition. In the Peruvian tradition Satchamama is an important guide and archetype for the shamans. She teaches us to shed that which doesn't serve us and to stay connected to Mother Earth, the way she connects to it with the whole length of her body.
